Allow the oven and pizza stone to cool completely after every use and shut off the gas supply before cleaning or maintenance. Brush loose flour, crumbs and baked food residue from the cooking chamber using a soft brush or suitable non-abrasive tool, then wipe the exterior with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent and dry thoroughly. Clean the rotating pizza stone only when completely cool, gently removing baked-on residue without soaking it in water or applying detergent, and never place the stone in a dishwasher. Keep the rotating mechanism free from accumulated food debris and check that it moves correctly before use; do not force it if movement is obstructed. Avoid abrasive pads, metal brushes, oven cleaners, bleach and aggressive chemicals on finished surfaces.
