Before use, inspect the metal wire, MicroLEDs and battery box for damage and carefully uncoil the string without pulling or creating sharp bends. Shape the fine wire gently and avoid repeated bending at the same point, as this may damage the internal connection. Insert three AA batteries of the same type and condition with the correct polarity and replace the complete set when brightness decreases. Remove batteries during extended storage to help prevent leakage and corrosion. Keep the battery box protected from moisture and never immerse it in water. Switch off before cleaning and wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. After Christmas, loosely coil the string without crushing or tightly folding the wire and store completely dry in a cool place away from heat, sunlight and humidity.
