Disconnect the grill from the power supply and allow the appliance, cooking surfaces and lid to cool sufficiently before cleaning or maintenance. After each use, remove grease and food residue from the cooking surfaces with a suitable non-abrasive scraper or brush, then clean with a soft cloth or sponge and mild detergent according to the requirements of the cooking surface, drying thoroughly afterwards. Wipe the lid, exterior and control area with a slightly damp soft cloth and never immerse the appliance, power cable, plug, controls or electrical components in water or rinse them under running water. Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads, oven cleaners, bleach, solvents and aggressive chemicals that may damage the surfaces or finish.
