Anyone who loves a true barbecue experience will always appreciate the charm of a charcoal BBQ. The ritual of lighting the fire, controlling the heat, and enjoying that unmistakable smoky flavour makes charcoal grilling a favourite choice for passionate barbecue lovers. The Charcoal BBQ Loewy 50 in Stainless Steel combines this authentic experience with a sleek and timeless design that fits beautifully in any outdoor space. With dimensions of 51,5 x 56 x 99 cm, it offers a comfortable grilling surface while remaining practical and easy to place on a terrace, balcony, or in the garden. Thanks to the QuickStart® system, lighting the barbecue is simple and efficient. With just a few sheets of newspaper and the correct technique, the charcoal or briquettes can be ready quickly. Once the fire is ready, you can enjoy flexible grilling results depending on your cooking style. The cooking grid can be positioned at three different heights, allowing you to control the heat intensity for perfect grilling results. In addition, the adjustable air supply at the bottom of the barbecue helps you maintain optimal control over the fire and temperature during cooking. Using the Loewy 50 is easy: remove the bottom grid and place three rolled-up pieces of newspaper into the lighting pipe. Then place the grid back in position and fill the bowl with charcoal or briquettes. Adjust the air supply to ensure good air circulation and light the newspaper through one of the holes at the bottom using a match or lighter. After approximately 15 minutes, the charcoal or briquettes will begin to glow. Add extra charcoal until the bowl is about half full and wait until the coals are fully hot and covered with a light white layer. Once ready, the barbecue is perfect for preparing delicious grilled food with authentic charcoal flavour.
Proper care and maintenance of a charcoal BBQ ensure its longevity and optimal performance. After each use, allow the grill to cool completely, then remove and dispose of the ash safely. Clean the grates and grids with a stiff wire brush to remove food residue and grease. To remove the coarse dirt you heat your appliance for about 30 minutes at 260 ° C, so the burned food and other residues easily burn. Then brush the inside with a soft brush, empty the ashtray and simply put your stainless steel grid in the dishwasher. The outside is easy to clean with a damp cloth.Periodically check for rust or damage and address any issues promptly to prevent further deterioration. Store your BBQ in a dry place or cover it with a weather-resistant cover to protect it from bad-weather conditions. Additionally, inspect the vents and dampers to ensure they are functioning correctly, allowing for proper air circulation during use.
